Mercy College is a private liberal arts college, dedicated to providing students the opportunity to transform their lives through diversity and higher education. Hudson Link and Mercy have partnered to sponsor a challenging college program at Sing Sing Correctional Facility.

This socially-engaging college program provides an opportunity for students to obtain their Associate and Bachelor’s degrees in Behavioral Science. Through intensive college classes in psychology and sociology, engaging classroom discussions and complex research projects, students examine why individuals react to certain aspects of society and the world at large in a particular way taking into consideration motivation, emotion, perception, personality, and individual preferences.

This challenging curriculum opens the door to critical thinking and a deeper understanding of oneself and the world and prepares our students to live and act ethically and responsibly in a changing world. About SUNY Sullivan Community College

This socially engaging, college program provides students the opportunity to obtain their associate degree in Arts and Science, focusing on English, history, psychology, sociology and the sciences. The program also prepares students to transfer into a four-year college degree-granting program.

Attending these demanding SUNY Sullivan college classes enables Hudson Link students to focus on ideas, languages, logic and a broader image of the world, nature, and society. The liberal arts program emphasizes questions more than answers, helping our students become better critical thinkers.
