We are delighted to introduce Jennifer Berry as our inaugural Reentry Case Manager. In this role, Jennifer collaborates with residents in our New Beginnings housing program, as well as other Hudson Link alums to facilitate their access to specialized services, affiliated organizations, and resources for developing essential life skills. She will enhance and expedite the provision of comprehensive support services that individuals frequently require when transitioning from prison to the community.
Jennifer’s extensive background in Human Services and Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Mercy University equips her to uplift and encourage our recently released alumni. She shared why this role is so dear to her:
“As [our students] rejoin society, I have the privilege to push them to make wise choices. It gives me great joy to help our alums by making sure they have access to reliable resources and the empathy they deserve on the outside.”
William Cheeks says
I wish you much success Jennifer Berry. I hope that the men and women who will be released from prison benefit from the wisdom, knowledge, and information that you will share to make their transition back into society successful. Thank you for making yourself available to men and women who need all of the support and encouragement that they need to move forward in society. Thank you very much and take care.
