We are so excited to welcome Hilberto Ramos as the new Academic Coordinator at Shawangunk Correctional Facility. Hilberto is an ambitious professional with critical thinking proficiency and extensive case manager experience. He has his Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences from Mercy College, a Masters in Pastoral Care and Counseling from New York Theological Seminary, and several certifications from the Association of Project Management (APM).
On top of his academic achievements, Hilberto is an accomplished speaker in the advancement of advocacy and the promotion of legislative change for justice-impacted communities through the Clean Slate Act. He improved public awareness of both social and health-enriching programs available in the community with the introduction of the E-bike program in Ossining, New York. Hilberto is coming to us from his role as Case Manager at Exodus Transitional Community. When asked about starting with Hudson Link, Hilberto shared,
“starting a new job can be scary, but coming to Hudson Link is a return home without fear. I’m here to be a change maker others need to succeed.”
