I am thrilled to announce the promotions of both Sean Pica to the role of President and Lila McDowell to the role of Executive Director. As Hudson Link steps into a ‘New Era,’ we are confident that with two dynamic leaders at the helm, the organization is ready for unprecedented growth, innovation, fostering positive change, and serving the community with even greater impact.
This new leadership model marks an important milestone in Hudson Link’s journey. With Sean stepping into the role of President, he will continue to provide his invaluable experience to the organization, strengthening our new and existing relationships with donors, supporters, and alumni, as well as expanding the reach of our efforts in New York and across the country. Lila, as Executive Director, will lead the increasingly complex programs and daily operations. She will also help to ensure that our programs continue to thrive and grow, while taking the lead role in devising future strategies for success, in close collaboration with all of our partners. It is also expected that Lila will continue to be instrumental in providing Hudson Link staff with the necessary tools and support to enable them to bring the organization to new heights.
This transition reflects not only how far we’ve come but also our unwavering
commitment to serving our students, alumni, and the wider field. It’s not just about recognizing the many accomplishments of our leaders—of which there are many—it’s about building on their remarkable contributions to deepen our impact and drive meaningful change.
